Arkar (born in 2002) grew up in Myanmar and started his career in advocacy communications through international development, supporting the visibility of EU-funded environmental conservation projects by sequa gGmbH. He later joined the European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar as Communications Officer, leading strategic communications for a network of 150+ European businesses in Myanmar. His work included advocacy efforts encouraging European companies to remain engaged in Myanmar despite the country’s political and economic instability. This was particularly significant for sectors such as garments, where the departure of European brands could put thousands of livelihoods at risk.

After moving to the Czech Republic, he worked as an International Conference Producer at UNIGLOBAL in Prague, producing international events with senior leaders of global financial sector.

Since 2024, Arkar has been supporting different organisations across Europe with external communications strategies, including Integrity Initiatives International Europe for the campaign to establish an International Anti-Corruption Court in The Hague, Netherlands.

In 2026, he started VOIX Impact, to start as an independent communications consultant focused on supporting NGOs, institutions, social enterprises, and non-profits with high-impact communications.
